The WonderGround Gallery is easily one of the most unique locations at the Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney district. It features original artwork commissioned by Disney, which results in a wide variety of artistic styles on display. The art is sold on prints, canvases, t-shirts, mugs, bags, and more, allowing you to place the art on your wall at home or to wear it proudly. Jerrod Maruyama, our very talented art director, is a frequent contributor to the space. His newest piece is entitled “Hipsters In Wonderland” – take a closer look at his newest piece after the break!
The artwork is inspired by Disney’s classic Alice In Wonderland, as Jerrod shares in a blog post posted over on his site. The Mad Tea Party attraction at Disneyland is a clear influence, with the background featuring the iconic teacups and the beautiful lanterns that light up at night. “Hipsters In Wonderland” is the newest addition to the “Hipsters” line of artwork that Jerrod has been sharing in recent years. Jerrod’s artwork remains a mainstay at the gallery, indicating the sheer popularity of his work. We are ecstatic that he continues to enjoy great success!
