The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade has been in development for quite some time, with guests of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom park anticipating the new parade since the Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade came to an end shortly after the beginning of the new year. Billed as a celebration of Fantasyland characters, excitement for the new parade has been building for months. It finally made its official debut yesterday, and a significantly large crowd was there to experience it. Take a look at some images and video from its debut after the break!
The floats had only been seen in photos and brief videos, while the bubbly soundtrack was heard in snippets. While there were exciting promises made and fulfilled – Elsa and Anna from Frozen were there – there were also surprises in store. Only glimpsed in the show’s poster above, we got our first look at the Pinocchio float featuring Monstro the whale. Also, the highlight of the show, which was always expected to be the entrance of the massive Maleficent dragon, proved to be even more spectacular than previously imagined – it breathes fire!
The video of clips from the parade, which features more of that bouncy soundtrack is below:
The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is now running daily at Magic Kingdom! What time, you ask? 3:00, of course!
