Given Frozen‘s popularity, Disney has taken the opportunity to continue the story from the film. However, instead of creating a sequel in the form of a feature film, Walt Disney Animation Studios has put together a short film called Frozen Fever. The story, which reunites the main cast from the original film, centers around Elsa organizing a birthday party for Anna. So crucial to the success of Frozen, the music will once again play a large role in the upcoming short as a new song was written. It is not often that we get a trailer for a short film, but when it comes to the juggernaut that isĀ Frozen, all of the rules are thrown out the window. The short will be attached to the Cinderella live-action film, and one could argue that the anticipation for the former is almost higher than for the latter. It makes sense, then, that the marketing team would make a push for the short and ensure that audiences are aware that when they pay to see Cinderella, they are seeing a new Frozen story for free (some might even say they are paying for the short while getting a feature film for free).
Frozen Fever debuts in theaters with Cinderella this March 13th!
