Even before the releases of Saving Mr. Banks and Frozen, awards buzz was building for the films. Saving Mr. Banks is a true crowd-pleaser with a heartwarming story and an incredible performance by Emma Thompson as P.L. Travers, the author of the “Mary Poppins” books. Frozen, similarly, has heart at its center, with a great story about princess sisters Anna and Elsa, gorgeous animation, and a memorable soundtrack.
