Anna and Elsa are the newest princesses to join the Disney family after their debut in Frozen, the monstrously successful animated adventure from Walt Disney Animation Studios. Wherever you have a hit film, a wealth of merchandise is sure to follow, in order to satisfy the demand from fans. Although the Frozen princesses have not officially joined the Disney princess line, toys and dolls featuring the characters have proven to be popular at retailers. New limited edition dolls are on their way, which you can take a closer look at after the break!
The Disney Store’s blog, The Buzz, has shared images of the dolls, which seem to be catered to the collector market, as they are each limited to just 5,000 pieces each. Many prefer one character over the other, so whether you are a fan of the spunky Anna or the more reserved Elsa, both of the dolls are high-end products with some great detail on their clothes and accessories.
The dolls will go on pre-order stateside “online and in select stores,” according to The Buzz, on Friday, January 10, and will retail for $99.95 each. There will be a limit of one each for buying customers, in order to prevent the serial eBay sellers who buy in bulk to sell at a profit. Although it will likely be challenging to attain the dolls, the purchase limit will allow the maximum number of interested buyers.
Stay tuned for further details on where and when the pre-order will go live!
